About CWCS Nepal

Children Welfare Concern Society (CWCS), Nepal was established in March 2008, with the initiation of a group of very dedicated and enthusiastic social service volunteers, with an aim for promoting concern over various Child related and alarming key issues on Children Welfare in Nepal.

The main purpose of this organization is to preserve the children and their rights, those who have been suffering from natural disaster, conflict, losing their parents, poverty, and abandoned position due to conflict environment. It rises to ensure the children and women’s different program’s and makes the government bodies aware of their duties and responsibilities. Its focus is over the children’s rehabilitation and better development of them with good health, education, shelter of children with women’s Empowerment & to provide good opportunity.

CWCS Nepal is registered (Registration No.2968 / 257) with the Government of Nepal as a non-government organization. It is also duly affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, the apex governing and monitoring body for all social organizations working in Nepal.

CWCS Nepal basically focuses its activities on various Child developments Related issues such as Child education, Child health, the children’s rehabilitation and better development of them with good education, health, shelter of children, protecting child from different kinds of abuses such as sexual abuses, child labor abuses, domestic violence etc through various kind of Child rights awareness programs, as well as it also gives its equal concern over other key issues for proper and better Child development on priority base.

CWCS Nepal’s Vision

CWCS Nepal envisions a society respecting every child’s rights & the abolishment of all kinds of violent and & exploitation against them in any form by eliminating all boundaries. Every child should be guaranteed to get nutritious food, good health & quality education with secure & homely environment, and also every woman has rights to get equal opportunities & access to the resources, so they must be provided social, economic environmental rights & equal opportunities.

Our Mission

CWCS Nepal plays important role for social changing agent to empower Nepalese children and women through capacity building and various short-term as well as long-term sustainable trainings/ programs lunching on over the children and women. Also it cares maintaining quality education, good heath and family environment in to the rehabilitated home & outside the too for the concern groups.

Our Goal

Focus to produce capable children and women in Nepal from the helpless, poor, orphan, affected and depressed groups inside and out side of the CWCS Nepal. Children Welfare Concern Society (CWCS), Nepal aims to support the vulnerable, destitute, orphan, abandoned, armed conflict affected, depressed and socially marginalized groups of children in the Nepalese community. Our minimum target is to serve, more than 75 such children through Orphan Care & Rehabilitation Program (OCRP) and 300 other needy children through various kinds of support service programs within 3 years of its first phase of Plan.

This is our first phase of plan, through which we aim to gain our above mentioned goal but we need to develop some other sustainable projects and programs too in the mentioned period itself, so that will enable us to maximize our way to create various long term programs and projects, by sustaining ourselves! Since, our wish is not to rely only on foreign support only, but it is the fact to be able to self sustain we are in need of some initial investment on our programs/ projects, may be we need this kind of support for several years until we become able to rely on ourselves.
