Objectives/ Activities

CWCS Nepal is a non-profit social organization. Its main objectives are:

  • Enhance the capacity of marginalized children and provide rehabilitation opportunities to the helpless, orphan, abandoned, poor and affected & dalit children for their better, brighter & secure future.
  • Ensure their basic rights such as education, health care, homely affection and other needs.
  • Make those children capable to earn their lively hood through academic education, various kinds of life skills and other vocational trainings as well.
  • To target those children in special programs, who have been affected by domestic violence, civil war and other severe political, social & economical circumstances.
  • Make children and women independent by promoting them in terms of good and qualitative education and training & engaging them in the productive work and income generating program.
  • To develop and launch various short term and long term programs of micro-entrepreneurship, micro finance, education, health and public awareness as helpful project for the sustainable community development focusing woman participation.
  • To improve the abysmal situation of Nepali street children.
  • Thus to help to improve the general living conditions of children in Nepal.
  • To maximize possibilities of local resources utilization for self sustainability of CWCS Nepal.

In order to achieve it’s over all objectives, CWCS Nepal is:

  • Implementing Orphan Care & Rehabilitation Program (OCRP), through running an orphanage center & providing basic needs to its rehabilitated children.
  • In order to support rehabilitates children of CWCS Nepal, it is handling different quality education and life skills training programs to the targeted groups of children.
  • Launching special initiatives and projects for underprivileged girls, orphans and displaced children from the poor and other deprived community children.
  • Providing educational support and scholarships to those children who live with their families but lack financial resources for their education.
  • Launching awareness campaigns to educate the parents of poor children.
  • Participating in researches and surveys to find out the root causes of children’s plight in Nepal.
  • Lobbying with the government and other related agencies for child rights in Nepal.
  • Seeking opportunities for strengthening network with different governmental and non-governmental organizations for effective implementation of its various projects.
